‘Reality Shows’- An unrevealed truth...

Immense talent in our country is the primary key to mounting TRP’s of reality shows. They provide the exposure, fame and most importantly the impetus to perform better. Unanimously the credit has to be given to entire team, especially judges who perform the gruelling task of choosing their contestants. For such celebrities, examining lacks with the same level of patience and unbiased attitude just for the sake of promoting and bringing forth talent of the country is worth acknowledging. However midst all this do we realize that the memories of title holder get blurred soon after, and they tend to disappear into thin air.

Showbiz- Where value is more than net worth!!!

Jet Airways flight SW-7105 from Delhi to Kolkata. Engrossed in temple run I realised the flight had been boarding for the past twenty minutes and as the norm I was the last among the lot to board the aircraft. Exchanging pleasantries with the air hostess and moving down the deck I was dumbstruck at the sight. It was bizarre to say the least. The entire group of passengers on board the flight had mustered around seat 4D. I tried to decipher what the problem was but being unable to do so, I finally consulted the air hostess regarding the same.

Yet another semester...... or is it????

Winters are setting in and it’s that part of the year when getting out of quilts is tantamount to getting good grades in IIT. Obviously I am so much into these 'grades' thing because the crusade of grades has just ended. After each semester you realise that you’ve just concluded a humongous task and so is the case with this one too...... my third semester. However I can’t stop mulling over the fact that with each passing semester I am more deeply in love with 'Roorkee'. Staying at my domicile has now become a dreary task which I have to accomplish twice in six months. Maybe I am exaggerating a bit, but still I no longer cherish it.

Taking your chances....... afterall you don't lose anything

 Though this blog comes a little behind schedule considering the context I am discussing but seriously guys my life has been quite hectic all this while. It’s been almost a month and a half since my semester started and I have observed something very appealing in this period. Becoming a senior in college has a great sensation all together. In a nutshell you actually learn to conduct yourself in a much more matured manner especially in front of the first yearites popularly known as “facchas/facchis”.  Now obviously different people have different reasons for doing so. Anyone with even a little bit of sagacity left would understand what I am trying to talk about.

Anyways so I was talking about the abrupt change in the maturity level which the “seniors” experience in themselves. Is it really because they have grown old enough in those two lazy months of their lives or is it something related to discovering the likelihood for altering their relationship status?? Before this let me ask you if you actually make an effort to know how many girls have been admitted in the campus and what the quality of so called “maal” is. If you do so you must have started feeling guilty by now and hence my blog is dedicated to you guys.

Being Under Pressure

Right from our kindergarten we all have noticed numerous kinds of pressures at diverse stages of our lives.  Ever tried to sense what is the root cause of these stresses which we face in our routine lives??? It’s the word- “COMPETITION”. Knowingly or unknowingly we have spent our lives in so much competition that we have become oblivious to it. However still whenever it’s the question of performing there’s a different set of equations involved. Someone recently quoted to me- “There’s a difference in studying everyday and performing in the exams.” This is the difference I am talking about.

Do we really struggle hard??

“Success comes easy to some people” ….. Do you think identical?? Well I won’t say that you are completely wrong if you do so but have you made sincere efforts to get what you wanted?? Though not easy, sometimes success can be tasted by struggling hard. However why is it that for some people it always seems a cakewalk to be triumphant?? Let’s try and answer these questions in this post.

Those endless rallies of my life

It’s been almost nine years since I started playing this breathtaking sport. It was just a mere twist of fate that I was made to hold that racket and stand in front of a table which rose almost to my chest. I had to run like the lawn tennis guys to control the ball with a racket that I found quite weighty. I didn’t know why I was being indulged into it but all I was told was to keep the ball on the table as long as I could and put it in the correct areas. Now you can visualize what a heck of a task it would be for a guy who is merely eleven to place the ball in right areas. I couldn’t even spot all areas of the table forget placing the ball. Day in and day out I held the racket in my hand committed to hit the ball which at most times went out or went on the net.
